You are in...... THE CHESS Q!
Welcome to The Chess Q!
I started blogging to document my efforts and grow for a Chess Class by Dr. Alexey Root.
To connect intellectually with other players, review my life goals daily to where it becomes a habit, document these processes, strengthen my lifelong learning study habits and practices, stay focused on my degree plans, reward myself with completing life goals, etc
Fly, go through astronaut training whenever possible, be prepared and complete tests at above expected satisfactory level, etc 7/11/2015
Today I took a photo in a special exhibit touring at Meadows Museum that appeared to look like a castle with grounds and was asked by security not to take the photo. I apologized because the sign said anything without flash photography, and there was a subtitle excluded special exhibits i.e. travelling and not belonging to meadows. I read through chapters in Alexey Root's teaching chess books, pulled out a few health manuals, organized my test prep guides, and put one of my proof playbooks in boxes for a future office. "A bird is an instrumental working according to a mathematical law. It lies within the power of humans to make the instrument with all its motions" Leonardo da Vinci. How I wish we could play telekinetic chess as in X-Men, or likewise in zero gravity relaying to Stephen Hawkins and arguing with him over the approximation of the Universe and existence and theoretical matters with other fellow man. My Chess board lost it's Pente stand. The Pente board was so old the legs fell off from old glue in a travel to host a Math Club new student freshman orientation. Today Murphy Chess Club sent me a request to join a group on Chess.com. I have been using the educational chess classes as a means to teach with my spaceprincess.org non-profit and in general with anything educational think more clearly, cognitively, and strengthen my brain to have a sharper memory and healthy plasticity for the stamina it requires to the rigors of the life I lead. I am using "Royal Palaces" from B&N to remind me of Castles as in Castling in the first 5 moves during a match, which is a skill not quite yet second nature as it use to be over a decade ago when I played with my ex husband and friends. Dusting this off and the Timetables of Medicine, I wonder how we stretch our minds therapeutically when we learn something new in its regards of pairing to the physical health of our other habits around us. This was a concept I aspired to create a program called Therapy On The Fly, as in when someone goes through a therapeutic session in the air behind the pilot's seat of an aircraft. My American Flyers manual reminds me to bring a portable game of chess to take a break and play in between the longer training sessions. 7/12/2015
My astronaut poodle Squire Maguire has decided it is more important for me to throw his toy outside this office than it is for me to continue my blog and growth about chess & life over the summer. At least he is not jumping on the keyboard like he did in one of my Spanish classes. Sometimes I am mean and I pretend to throw the toy and place it in hiding so he has to run around and doesn't find it so I can write my articles or do my work. I wonder how long it takes him to figure out I am lying based on him going back and forth trying to find the chew toy... which reminds me of a game in which I needed to move and was so exhausted from travel on one of my NASA trips that I couldn't see the move and my teacher told me how. One of the reasons I am getting in the habit writing now is because I am otherwise overly protective of my thoughts. Recently the dog and I lost a bag at the Harlingen airport that contained all of my calculus notes and linguistic learning that was close to a decade old but still useful. I have the Sicilian attack next to my bed, and a group of books in my lockers just getting use to the pieces as notations of movement, I think I am better at seeing the patterns on the board but who knows. I thought about Women as Neurosurgeons being pieces on the board and how I would label them in accordance with history or what have not. Our treasurer in Math Club was talking about having chairs made of Greek letters, so I thought of that as a college board organization within the Panhellenic or simply Greek life. Wondering what types of airplanes from the history of Aviation would make a nice chess board... 7/13/2015

Today I spoke about chess with someone and wrote part of my about me page until my laptop lost power. Squire Maguire and I got on a microphone to declare he would be my teaching assistant and help me teach for minds move this world. Iran reached a historic deal on nuclear arms trade and I thought of polo and chess and peace and love. 7/14/2015
I meant to blog earlier but I had chess preparations of studying and practicing on top of press conference and my son and we were talking about Tesla picking me up and having an automatic programmed car transport me and I told him that I could not justify why the car doesn't fly as one in back to the future did. I played the piano somewhat. Worked on my fashion line, even thought I have no idea who will come into my life besides Neiman-Marcus that told me I should sell one of my coats, to help me launch. & really I looked at my dog while I was writing and thought, I wonder what chess piece he would be in a costume and what kind of patch he would need for Math Club, besides chess, I am sure they already have a multitude of concepts for animals to be chess pieces, but patches, and then, how would I do an aviation patch with chess and math on it if we were to create our own? Which reminds me I need to contact a friend for another patch from NASA. I am really interested in getting a certificate from the United States Institute of Peace and had seen some chess clubs sponsor chess for peace as well, but I need to complete my certificate because I am 97% done with getting it before I become biased and ask which countries have those in place to establish peace chess games as a conflict resolution game for higher ordered thinking because most of the linguistics from SMU I studied in regards to the algorithms used for human processing for languages etc it meant more to the individual who was acquiring a new language that it be distant from its own and not written concretely in the origin of the language just of the origin of the speaking person pursuing a new one. I was thinking of Nina Vaca today and women who want to break the glass ceiling and what we have in common. Holmes is empowering the public to see their own blood and health records to make decisions, I know Vaca is our Pinnacle1 woman, so my life goals and business plans that are going through editing for statement of purpose and updated won't compare myself directly to copy the style of anyone directly, I truly believe anything is possible, and if you imagine what is possible and how you want to live your life, it will follow suit. I thought today about one of my concepts for an education charity project and what portions would go to causes I love, what would be put aside for research, what would go back into operations or a foundation etc. & of course what I would use for plastic surgery to get scars removed from wounds boys who bullied me have apologized as adults for doing. Guess it is bedtime! 7/15/2015
Got a phone call today about our board meeting where I serve as an executive chair liaison for Les Femmes Du Monde with Children's Health and we are meeting at Million Air which is a terminal in the Addison Airport that I train with American Flyers currently out of for my Private Pilot's license. I pulled out my chess manuals at Zaza today during a kickoff party The One Society was hosting because I was curious what they were about and it came up in one of my notifications. I explained how I loved teaching in my space time with my non-profit and that I did not know how these hours I needed to do for finishing my degree at UTD were going to work around or vice versa with the schedules and research I started at UTSouthwestern that just seems like lost data now because I was going to do an honor's thesis for a teacher who quit teaching one of the classes I needed, that is what he suggested, and when I wrote down the specifics for publication topics I would be interested in creating and researching, as in what I wanted to answer, I got wiped out in part of a semester that took away the hours I would have done for my minor in nanotechnology, so the first hard choice for funding and what is fair to do in a public setting is to let go of some of those research dreams, and focus only on finishing, pace out my life goals and readjust their due dates or rearrange the order of importance for what can be done now, and studying for the MCATs and feel out what I will be accepted most likely for with a dual degree, while I use my current education in CCIM to help build hospitals or do work reactivating my real estate license and getting some investing in on joint projects somehow, where is my pieces on the chess board that will move into these position so I can win at my own game in life? I have been crying a lot over a journal and some of my books that were in my NASA bag at the Harlingen airport. It has not been found yet and one of the journals had all of my notes for things I was studying and a 5 year plan I had pretty much finished but my name in multiple languages in acronyms spelled out and I have been stressed out for many reasons not knowing how to delegate some of the responsibilities I need done to professionals who are more equipped than I to secure the funding for projects-and I totally just pretended to throw the ball and buried it under my laptop so I can finish writing. I thought about wanting to start an undergrad pre-med chapter that I won't have time for now at UTD most likely, and wanting to establish a fund for tradition at UTSW in the fraternity for something related to my grandfather and I since they started allowing women in 1973 but I see no foundations in a woman's name with the fraternity. I have started a habit to play myself every morning before I am fully awake in the regards to chess moving a few pieces before I get on chess.com and also the other sites and work I have to do throughout the day. Was excited for Pluto photos from NASA taking over the internet. One of my new books it called "The Pirc" and a wise teacher once said possession is about nine tenths of the law, just picking up new nomenclature is a challenge so forth as a new language, but I am hoping to expedite some processes to make it more second nature as efficiently and quickly as possible, and my instructor last time taking a course would reward me with praise on things I didn't really know I was doing because it was a computer I played on in between boards as a kid...so reading the texts is a new habit, it is not as confusing as teaching yourself Japanese when you are picking up an Asian dialect Spanishly and had to be corrected it was not a Latin based language. I appreciate the fact that there are mathematical interpretations they place on these openings. I should come up with a win/win situation to space out appropriate time for chess play and work and my other assignments, such as for one of the math classes I am having to rework to show evidence for, I could do a page of a problem before reading a chapter in each of these books for chess, etc, dedicate a specific hour to chess and work and alternate, something that gives my mind a push in a positive direction and not a burnout etc. I really want to be able to work my way up to an investment board that I deserve and have seen some wonderful creations in considering that all of my other chores are met and I have successfully used chess in being the focal point to increase my batting average of points on the board and in life with my other academics and businesses / endeavors. I want to be able to put my foreign languages collection of books paired in a chess room in an office and home to where it can be dedicated with art and history where someone can learn them both simultaneously...I think that would be neat or cute or whatever I should probably go to sleep. A mathematician friend of mine had mentioned he wanted to see chairs in the shape of greek letters and I thought about greek letters on chess pieces and what they would mean as well.
Tactical in chess seems to be my weakest point when playing online individually focusing. I can't explain why playing multiple games at the same time gives me a higher tactical score during the last semester I took a course. I also hope I get to play chess in microgravity someday. That would be super awesome to take a break when I am doing scientific research...and I need to get back to finishing my Russian speech request for Pussy Riot to come talk about human rights, and a few trips out of the country, one for education, and one a wedding....Goodnight y'all!

Put new chess board you are making for LEGOS movie here! Brickumentary 7/18/2015
I have literally protected my crayon pieces until they can be dubbed- in a shoe box topped with a thesis paper stack and engineering lab notebook. I am really grateful we have an Aerospace Medicine trained doctor going up to the ISS & with that I have annotated 140 pages for a who's who book for a teenager of mine Joseth and I am off to bed. Love you son! Hope you get to read some of my adventures when you get time. Glad y'all made a BBQ pit while I was in Addison at Kaboom town working in the jet hanger. Oh yeah and today I took out my presidential blanket and went to listen to Bernie Sanders while I did some of my flight preparations and checklists 7/19/2015
Today is Robin Williams birthday, had he not committed suicide. I am writing to the Perot Museum to see if I can do a tribute to Robin Williams and his character Mork and do a background of "What Dreams May Come" for a fundraiser with the Suicide Crisis Prevention Center of North Texas as my Space Princess character. I got a new math encyclopedia for Math Club today where I originally had inquired about one of our Grandmasters years ago who was playing chess in our meeting and learned that we had a chess team. I was talking with some of the transfer students coming in about Chess Club and directed them to Jim Stalling and also let then know that we have a formal education credit class to learn to teach chess under Alexey Root. I put sticky notes on all of my chess books today to sort them by language and was searching online to see when the different countries had championships etc as in what time frame and pins. I love Bobby Fisher at least growing up so I found some cute buttons with some of his quotes. Some of the other volunteers, at least one of them who is in our robotics program at UTD was talking about the chess robots to some of the new students and learned about some of the research they are conducting. I am going to a middle school to hear their career day presentations so after that I have homework & some practicing to do for the world of chess and preparations. I am thinking of sneaking our astronaut poodle to the career fair. 7/22/2015
I was very honored to have been invited to Tasby Middle School with Squire Maguire our @astronautpoodle while we launched 3 new astronauts into space, some for their first times. Today I am going through my rigors or training like an astronaut along with the rest of the crew :) I got to catch up on the press conferences and family time.
I have been writing an introduction for our chess class in the fall and going over my life goals to change my business plans on what has already been accomplished and what needs fine tuning. Today I was at SMU, UTSW, and now finishing at UTD. I was asked to take on the leadership position of our Aviation Club Alpha Charlie and I hope that I get to incorporate my fearless leadership skills into everything I do, not just in Aviation. Today is my mother's birthday and we went out to eat at Texas a restaurant. It took me a few days after teaching and the launch of the astronauts to the ISS to get back into my normal rhythm and I am pretty sure anyone here at UTD campus is like why is there a crazy chick in pajamas and scrubs wandering around to post online, play chess, etc which reminds me I found a new chess board today and took a photo of it on my phone. I cleared it off because it was being used as a table in an Annunciation place we stopped to use the bathroom at. The squares have shades or lines over the solid part might be. My house is a wreck trying to clean and get ready for the new school year. I put the foreign languages books with the chess books but have not paired them for language or culture etc. I am getting over being mortified that I had to write a letter to Dr. Daniel who left our University to take on a position as a deputy under McRaven that I needed to leave a test because I was feeling agoraphobic and claustrophobic at the same time and needed to change my women's hygiene. One of my friends just found out her husband has Parkinson's and while I feel like a teenager every time I have pimples for my cycle I think it cannot be compared to to what she must be going through with the love of her life. She is someone that I volunteer with in the community and I want to be able to be there for her because I also know that it has been harder on her since he has lost the ability to drive. Tesla is hiring at NorthPark and I told them I would pass along the information and also if they wanted to program a Tesla to pick me up and take me to work anytime that would be fine. I think about how much simpler life would be for people in the event visionaries like Elon Musk were able to actually bring something like that to life, especially to those in their elder years with something like Parkinson's. I spoke with my son Joseth yesterday and talked about his etiquette, something of which I am also learning from books and practice. We are having his teenager years coming soon and I reflected today on the last teenager I put in high school. The AIAA president of another University and I discussed our plans to take a group to Ad Astra Rocket Company, the VASMIR engine people in my proposal for NASA and combine it with a Johnson trip. Pretty sure I wrote to someone who might be able to help put me in a better position than I am for outings like this and to get a higher rating or sponsorship for the group of those that want to be research subjects as pilots. Had a conference with myself at the Ritz Carlton in the Boardroom. Hoping that does me some positive psychology to soar. 7/30/2015
I am down in San Antonio on vacation for a couple of days. Really that means that I am working and visiting with family. I dedicated a nightstand in my hotel room for my chess program items. My note #teachchess #playchess #masterchess #updategoals #bebrilliant on our utdallas.edu program for chess, underneath my first book is Mighty Manager the Handbook for Leaders. 24 lessons for extraordinary leadership. "Not until the American Revolution did soldiers begin hiding behind trees and lying on the ground to avoid becoming easy targets." Take a nonlinear approach is what I would consider the first rule in chess to learn castling. Castling is what I am pairing with my Royal Palaces book to see if I can give a more visual historical context. On top of that book at home is my timeline for the history of medicine. Here and now I have the Jacques Hadamard "the psychology of invention in the mathematical field" I have been reading. In between these books is my UT Dallas Office of Research (breaking to swim and exercise and finish 15 books)

Do you like my garage? The surprise attack in mathematical problems by L.A. Graham is next...followed by Chess Metaphors Artificial Intelligence and the Human Mind by Diego Rasskin-Gutman. People, places, checkmates by Alexey W. Root including Thinking with Chess and The Living Chess Game. The Pirc by Nunn, Sicilian c3 by M. Thomas, Chess A New Intro by John Love, Trompovsky Attack by Jimmy Adams, Queens Gambit Declined by Eric Schiller, French Defence Tarrasch Variation by P.A. Richmond, The Development of a Chess Genius by Fred Reimfeld, Exploiting small Advantages by Eduard Gufeld, Tronpowski Opening and Torre Attack by Robert Bellin, and Gruenfeld by Richardson and Boyd. Two of the books did not have note cards sticky notes for designation design of their cultural context so I left Aviation Club & Space Princess with Neurosurgeons Without Boarders weebly website reminder on them so when I am done with those websites for work updating them I can label the books and prepare them for my chess project. Swimming was fun I got to do yoga while I was swimming and also work out a bit so I am about to hit the gym after a shower, grab lunch, and learn some Chess Tactics. Afterwords I have itemized lists and research to complete and photos to take on San Antonio Riverwalk! 8/5/2015
I got to prepare for teaching chess on the Riverwalk of San Antonio on vacation along with my other assignments. Tomorrowland! was my favorite passtime movie. Today I started the day off going to the dentist to fix a tooth, and the remaining hours of numbness and difficulties in talking I stopped by my bank, Southern Methodist University, ordered a Chess Button. Headed over to Addison and Cavanaugh Flight Museum and bought two new cool backpacks- one is a Blue Angels Set and the other is a Space Explorer set. Summer Ayala, a friend of mine who models professionally and is an actress on the side, had invited me there for North Texas Make*A*Wish foundation event where the kids who had overcome or were overcoming cancer put on a fashion show for us with Lauren Franco's designs. It was a very moving experience. Prior to that or Aviation Club had taken a brief tour when it was my first time, and now that I hold an officer position as President for the Alpha Charlie chapter I called upon the Ninety-Nines.org a group of Women Aviators and informed the museum of who they were and my plans for interviewing Higgins during our Fort Worth Air Alliance Show with the Blue Angels then headed to Addison Pilot Store, then Flight Training school at American Fylers, back #HomeSweetUTD to research in our Special Collections of Aviation History and briefly gave the Marines 100,000 miles for Chattanooga my photos from running around 5 miles afterwards. I taught myself calculus for fun ages ago (which means over a decade) and then later had my father correct my work, so now I have a deadline to CLEP because the state needs the records for it to be public knowledge of my work I guess. I really miss my family of functions board I had made because I drew hearts and stars and stuff all over it, but now I just have a composition book of Calculus^3 and a digit nook with instructions for how to that will suffice for collegeboard.org. Being Vice President of the Math Club I already have 250+ topics I want to create my own website for OCW someday when I get spare time. I had a talking to from a doctor that for Medical School anyways I will only need calculus, and I understand that. The doctor more than anything gave me a reminder to finish my work for the state on time as quickly as humanly possible is for me I suppose. Kyra from Children's and I talked about the Fashion Show we are bringing back to Les Femmes Du Monde in Feburary, and I talked about UTSouthwestern letting me sit in on research for what I need at the moment, my son and him being able to visit more often. #perseid I got to see three years ago and I was happy to be here to inform my audience about it being here in a peak for it's 133 year rotation. I put plastic surgery grand rounds in my schedule that starts tomorrow at #UTSW after another UTD Grad session, then I have an Autism Treatment Center fundraiser related to the Pegasus Ball I have attended with #Patron magazine and our group will be in discussions with the designer & others in the community, National Aviation Day August 19th, the opening of #NewParkland #iStandwithParkland August 20th, it is Back to School, Return to College, Teaching Anew, and #trainlikeanastronaut #oneyearinspace #spaceprincess and I need to return the white board marker to American Flyers since I walked out with it doing my interview plans, travel arrangements to Pakistan & Poland this year, and the Ad Log for our group of people who want to be in Aviation/Space Brain Research and Human Development training I am organizing and participating in with NASA. My chess teaching manuals are sleeping in my locker tonight at UTD, I did read the #kingsmenship of Benjamin Franklin today.
NASA Media team has been transitioning me to full media from the social media credentials I already possess.
Happy First Day of School Y'all! Happy First Day of College Y'all! Happy Senior Year Undergrads and Grads & Doctorals & Post Docs Y'all! Research On :)
We went on a trip to see the Blue Angels! I registered everyone under my UTSW ID and we had students from UTD, UTA, UT etc come and visit for the airshow under my spaceprincess.org media app. I am now setting up a movie night for our math club so we can watch Numb3rs after I do the aviation club & space society meeting. My son came up on his first commercial flight by himself as a passenger and we visited American Flyers where I train for my pilots license currently when we are not touring or doing other exercises elsewhere. I moved my mother's books into her new office at SMU where she replaces Campbell Read a professor emeritus who left her his office and is shipping his belongings back to one of his schools in England, even though I am trying to convince her to let me keep at least one of the handwritten journals he has if they don't want to ship it! Tesla was really sweet to us, my son & I, for his tour of NorthPark location and the 90D model. We had another fundraising event for Children's Health at a place called Souk & now are gearing up for the Dallas Country Club on October 14th. My official chess class starts on the 19th of October, so I am hoping I get to make it to some of the extra credit opportunities & find time for teaching in between classes and work. I have some tests I have to take outside of my normal curriculum as well so I can finish my first science degree! I am really hoping that it is worth it & I am doing my successful habits updating what I have completed in my life plan & I made a few new friends at NASA so that made me happy :) I wrote to the Pope Francis because I promised someone's mother before she died that I would make sure she is ok, and her and her mother are catholic. I didn't know he has never been to the US before, I sent him a poster I wrote in Italian and some candles I had found from 1949 that were our lady of the candle, and I sent the package from San Antonio and told him I want to go to space and so forth, one of m NASA friends had said it would be cool if we had a pope going to space or who supported space travel. I am hoping to get better at Chess and be able to strengthen my brain with the strip that forms from the reflexes of playing, but I also have to take into consideration time allocations for my classes & work too. I had to go in for my mother at Southern Methodist University when she was sick during the 100 year anniversary kick off and I was also off of work suppose to be at home resting. Seeing the Blue Angels and setting up an interview for Higgins with the Navy was a new experience for me, and we are seeing whether or not we can get our Aviation Club to be able to go to a show again for travel or not, we have a bunch of tours I have been working on to set up for a few years now when I was in a lower position and now that I am president of the organization I take more responsibility & steps towards my time spent finishing out at UTD to be meaningful and get me where I need to go on to my next degrees. Reinstating my real estate license has been on my to-do list and I have to update my calendar and fit activities in my schedule around my family time with my son coming up to Dallas.
To my left is Vivian Castelberry. I met her at a Woman for World of Peace event. She is holding my Space Princess bear and wearing space glasses that I normally have. I have since made pares of them with chemistry glasses for the kids or adults who want to do space related activities. I thought of including her because her last name starts with Castle, which is something real grand masters are trained to do within the first five moves of chess. Kristin Kennedy, a professor that I am studying for one of her tests in neuropsychology, has studied the brains of some of these chess experts and discussed the strip that they develop as a muscle in their brain that activates just like when someone practices music, say an instrument like the piano, for me it was the oboe at an early age. On the right is me in front of a secret door, not so secret door for those who know where it is, but I appreciated the skulls, I am a fan of skulls, and the trophy underneath is not my latest joke at being a single trophy wife from #therunawaybride movie, but it is the Brain Bowl our department kids in behavior and brain sciences we won as a team for UTD for those who went to compete, they were able to answer questions about the brain against the competing universities. The symbolism for me to put these items together is first and foremost, to remember that developing your mind takes time, despite awards that those before us, such as Vivian here who was the first female editor for Dallas Times Herald, have achieved, the paths that are paved before us, or rather beyond us making ways for the road less traveled to get to an unknown destination of satisfaction in whatever our pursuits may be, our credence in recognizing that we are indeed, training our brain for the habits of success in the directions we choose. It is possible for people to acquire chess skills, whether they learned it at a young age on the computer such as myself, or to develop them in an older age for the first time, either way the practice with strengthen the brain to adapt into the masterful skills depending upon the time you put into your play and craft.
I missed a weekly chess society meeting this past week, but I also had attended an extra credit opportunity and met with someone on the chess team and played her until I was a little late for Kristin Kennedy's class. I mainly spoke of how good it felt to play again even if I wasn't here to compete and I was not winning an games, being out of a domestic violence situation with my ex-husband was something I am grateful for, and picking up my love for chess without him has been bittersweet, but not without consequence as he is taking it out somewhat on our soon to be 13 year old, because he believes our chess school takes kids too young and he has trained him not to want to play with me and finally admitted to that, so we have lawyers updating our custody arrangements which for the most part of the summer and this semester has taken up a lot of my time I could have been playing chess or doing other things, and a considerable amount of redirecting my fears and overcoming the past images of that brief marriage and relationship with him prior, my proposing to him, him telling me how he was going to find someone that would do as he says where I would not, and the acceptance that life goes on, and passions I had for intellectual banter of real argument or structures of the lack there of with had come back in me for consideration within myself of how I would see myself with another partner, someone who might be able to tolerate and thrive with me better. The conversations with Joseth and explaining to him that I wanted to wait to have a daughter after I put him in college, him not understanding why I want to wait, how I had decided what her name would be when I was 8 years old, and just wanting to bond and connect with my child and his attitude as if it was conjectured to be malum prohibitum. I finally got sick from stress and had to take days off, and now we are finding another way so that I don't have to communicate with my ex-husband at all, and get our son on a regular schedule to be up here in Dallas or travelling with me during our time, I promised to have shut the door forever on my ex-husband, and I have had to have people around me break me of the habit to understand that indeed, not only is this a man whom I forgave for beating me with gun handles, but he trained my son to be violent against me, and all I had asked was for him to allow my son and I to play chess and just talk as an alternative to the madness, but for whatever reasons, the subject matter was too emotionally charged for him, and from fumbling to playing myself everyday and regressing slowly, I have reset my marble board that I also bought him his own chess board of, and decided to start over again with a fresh mind and a plan for updating my goals, playing, and studying more to reduce my anxiety from the matter in its entirety. To focus on the game of chess as a life within itself outside of your own is sort of like the art and science of doing math or studying a new language or getting a new degree and pushing yourself to develop the skills to acquire the greatness for the better part of yourself, and it comes with pushing through those walls in your mind and bringing dreams to a reality past the natural fears and doubts.
So in my "Be Brilliant"- by Ivanka Trump who gave me a journal that is a little beat up right now because I have traveled with it, I made hand written notes from my book over Royal Palace(s) + Castles, such are as follows: Turin, Caserta, Versailles, Chambord, Fontainbleau, Alhambra, Escorial, Queluz, Buckingham Palace, Hampton Court, Brussels, Het Loo Palace, Neuschwanstein, Charlottenburg, Sans Souci, Schonbrunn, Esterhaza, Prague, Wilanow, Rosenborg, Oslo, Stockholm, Kremlin, Karskoe Selo, Peterhof, Oriental Palaces, Topkapi Palace, Amber Fort, Red Fort in Delhi, Forbidden City, Bangkok, Courts of Europe.
When I attempt to research the castles to find images or any relations to chess, Turin comes up with a google question for whether or not I am searching for Alan Turing, indeed I am not, but had I created a computer chess game during a war, I would hope I would have the same enigma components for code breaking, and a few computer scientists who left me math club when they left mathematics after both getting the Putnam award in 2010 for UTD were both fond of XKCD and turing me on jokes. The actual Turin Castle is in Ireland but they have http://www.chessdom.com/news-2009/chess-teaching-methods-in-school which is in Italy and has a chess program at the University of Turin. It would be more interesting for me to be able to get pilot training hours to visit places like http://turincastle.com/ and just document playing chess in the actual castle.
Caserta, which is also in Italy, does not list having any chess programs, http://www.reggiadicaserta.beniculturali.it/ but it does seem to have spacious grounds and a sculpture garden, https://www.italofile.com/category/destinations/lombardy/milan/page/2/ lists that chess was a tradition, not specific to Milan, but that every two years they do a live match with people.
At UTD we have a robotics chess sculpture garden going on, and with all of the current construction, I am wondering if they will add anything more for the beautification process of the campus. Annotating is an artform, like learning to come up with your own signature for math, but a discipline non-the-less, and a harder duration for myself who is use to being glued to reacting on a computer to slow down and explain my thoughts at least with the first class I took in Dr Roots class. I came across http://www.juditpolgar.com/en/node/214 who teaches in Hungary, a place I have been, and apparently credits herself as the best player of all time as a woman! They have a beautiful castle in Hungary.

We do eye movements in pilot training and http://www.researchgate.net/publication/235783514_Eye_movements_and_visual_expertise_in_chess_and_medicine the same goes for chess and medicine. I think it would be neat to program a VR like Oculus Rift and just sit there like "Lawnmower Man" style, without going through the whole crazy electricity insanity format, and strengthen your ocular motor reflexes for chess. I have spent three hours talking about chess and life, so I better sign off, and finish some more work :) 10/04/2015
Versallies has a palace with chess boards mimicked after some of the grounds http://www.store-chateauversailles.com/en/games-and-creative-leisure-activities/387-gardens-of-versailles-chess-set.html
When I was younger, in me childhood years, before my teenage years, neighbors would ask where I wanted to live or what I wanted to do when I grew up, and I would point to a house, and say, I want to live in a house like that, and they would reply, that is not a house that is an apartment complex, and I thought well it looks like a large house, I guess the gossip columns or tabloids of royals from England would ruin any child's mind of understanding where one should go, either way, I ended up during my pregnancy getting a degree certificate series in CCIM, so at least I have a background and knowledge of what I would do to acquire larger property as an investment, and the way I got in there was agreeing to help with the math and they found a spot for me, yet I have not been to Chicago in the state of Illinois yet, where they are located. I guess it is useful now with 3D printing if I was on the International Space Station, technically I could ask for someone to email chess pieces and I could play with others on board! Since we are hosting a function for Children's Health and the World Affair's Council in 10 days, I have decided to stay home tomorrow, maybe make tonight a late study night, I slept an ungodly 10 hours yesterday. I did a 4:30am run over the weekend down to the UTSouthwestern area, and China Doll (that is her name) has been influential in keeping me focused on positive, she interviewed me on her radio show called "The Real", just like Ashley Berges has been an influential figure, in me seeing past my past of situations and challenges in the media world as my Space Princess character being a producer/reporter and somewhere in between this being domestic violence awareness month, I can relate to the symptoms of desperation in #themartian movie, where you think you are going to die and have to see past it. My son came up here wearing a shirt with "killer productions" on it from Dominic, and I was instructed to get rid of it, I have enjoyed the http://www.mma-tx.org/ Marines Military Academy being located next door to where Squire Maguire and I flew home from Harlingen, and the http://www.utrgv.edu/en-us/ being established in places I have traveled before, and it no longer bothers me that he told my son when I was recruited to be an officer for the marines that mommy really just wanted to grow up and be a murdered. I am happy the UT Systems have built a medical school especially down there. I talked with one of the chess team players with how I would have preferred to code my own chess learning brain programming. Today we have so many different tools to speed up the learning process, and visual cues aside, I am from Anatomy and Physiology class, a kinetic learner, so I am not sure if there would be a better elaborate virtual reality gaming system that would speed up the process for playing chess against a computer before playing with humans, in pilot training, they can give you a few hours for going through a simulation, and I find that you can make your medicine out of whatever you set your mind to, if it's just a mind game, but I posted a statement on http://nomore.org/gallery/andrea-elaine/ fallen asleep towards the end, where I said begins with me, not beings with me, sounds like I am an alien out to conquer planet earth! Just kidding. I am interested in the http://www.mhchess.com/tournaments.html medicine chess arena where they incorporate patient rehabilitation with playing chess.

I also found a unique board that I like! It is made with real used bullets though I think. Either way I was in a Chem class when I came across the board. Right now I am finishing a discussion over "Chess Society" and I have kept some notes of the kids that came to play, one particular with his mother, which made me happy to see them interacting and making their rounds. I also enjoyed working out with the Marines and at one time was selected as a candidate for an officer position. I follow a lot of studies that help soldiers with PTSD because I have lived through events that have rendered me diagnosed with such, and overcome them, and changed my brain to be healthy again. I should say I interact with a lot of researchers on the topic, and I have a Vagus Nerve Stimulation CD from UTSouthwestern I got during a conference that seems to historically be a better replacement than just using electroconvulsion therapy or lobotomy. Technology has advanced us to be more humane in treating people who have suffered traumatic or tragic events, and being able to rewire the brain for optimal performance with the patients needs and long-term goals, appears to have a health benefit for the individual as well as their families and society as a whole. I think that chess could be used as an effective means to put some of the wounded warriors back on a stable brain path and routine that could be not only a cognitive therapy, but a distractor for positively reinforcing re-entry into society, based on a mirroring principle that we use to deflect images for amputees with phantom limb pain. Then again I am biased for loving chess and wanting to use it to advance my critical thinking reaction times and get me back on my game and find the joy for it I use to have because it is very familiar as a child and throughout part of my dating experience up until I asked my ex-husband, then to marry me. The main reason that most players, to me anyways, become experts in the field of chess, is because they are able to immerse themselves as if it was a language, and let it temporarily become their world and phase out any other issues. I also think about a chess set with horses, and riding horses, and a chess set with airplanes, and rockets, and other things I could come up with to design. I haven't been able to think through where I would actually store, showcase, or house such a collection if I added it like an addition to my library under games, but the discipline of a great mind needs fine tuning, and I critically analyze my intentions on a daily basis, and I am ready to move past all of that and just put my plans into action. One of the things about a board like this, is I would have to keep younger kids from misusing the pieces if they had sharp edges. I have to get up and take another test tomorrow, & I have had to redo my schedule around my little guy coming up to visit! SO I better head home to bed. On a funny positive note, I wrote on my FB status that I am engaged with a quote from Sex & the City. I also took out a veteran who I have known since my teenage years, and attempted to clean him up for a day and took him to see the Martian. He had blood in his ears from injuring himself from crank. I was prepared to fly him back with me and adopt him and hide him until he could sober, but it would be difficult for me to hide someone in public with me as active as I am, and I decided that he has to want to change on his own, I cannot be everyone's mother. I cannot force someone to want an education, or to get one, just because I love to learn and plan to live a long time where I will continue to do so, but pain is something that we all experience and we either choose to live with or find a way to get over it.
I am going over a math club fundraiser. I need to reward myself with a board design. I pushed myself to take this class for the second half, to strengthen my cognitive skills, but also to transition into medical college & research outright & update my life goals. I came up with Pretzel knots functions, Cartesian cakes, richter mudslide soda, someone else came up with avocado avogardo, and 454 gram cake (pound) but I won't share the rest from Intagrill because I was asked not to, until I bring it to life, obviously. So algebraic numbering is prevalent on a chess board. I enjoy the singularity exponential for change diagram as well. It might be more interesting to utilize a pattern of what goals I would like to accomplish and put them on a board, and play against myself to see what will be exchanged. Primarily because people ask me, how I relate higher mathematical topics in relation to a chess board in regards to teaching patterns or skill sets when the algebraic notation is what is more required for the memorization and play aspect/expectation.
Pattern recognition from what I understand from another colleagues research data is that amateurs at chess develop this first as children and later on the brain develops like a heart muscle would pumping, but building upon a reflex that is prevalent such as the same way we develop skill sets for musicians playing an instrument often enough at the mastering level. Experts in chess, have developed the muscle in their brain, and we can see it on a brain scanner in basic terms. One of my chemistry professors told me that I am a busier person than he is. I find that hard to believe but then again, I do not see myself in the constant flux of life as he might. I was waiting for one of the peer centers to open to go over work, but I arrived at 8am and they didn't have a guy scheduled until 8pm, beyond that, their center didn't open until 11am. So I am focusing on my updates and going over the assignments and homework problems. I have 18 journals of notes and have been moving around the books in my library. What I miss most about one of the journals that needs to find its way back to me, is some of the chemical structures I have designed. I do have a copy of the notes, I have not had a designated design journal strictly for my chem structures or chess design pieces, as I have been doing most of my blogging online, but also because I have been keeping them in the other journals that I carry to go over my notes for continuing medical education and so forth, or my math journaling. Yesterday I successfully started a math rap, partially anyways no differential needed, just kidding. I did a tour with the Chemistry Student Association whose vice president told me I should be their mascot because I was talking about a Mr. Mole a friend had given a keychain that broke to me and I had taken him to class to celebrate Aziz with DNA repair and hosted him during a review session for a test. With my luck I would most likely find a chemical combination in a lab that would blow up that no one knew about.
November 11th on veterans day, we had a presentation by active Marines members who extended an invitation in the Spring for taking our group on a tour at the Joint Base for flight simulation. November 12th, Children's Health checks were presented by our Les Femmes Du Monde group where I serve as a Liaison with Children's Medical Center for the group. It means "Women of the World" in French, it is a non-profit group that supports the World Affairs Council of Dallas, and Children's Health, that is rebranded from Children's Medical Center. I spent about 3 trips to SMU and the area, since I work there as well, and afterwards HPAC director Dr. Karen de Olivares hosted an A.E.D./ΑΕΔ meeting with doctors from a Mend group that were sharing their vision with the students of affordable health care that comes to you. http://www.mendathome.com/ Jonathan Clarke and Wes Galliher. I gave them one of my contacts for logistics in the DFW area, someone that I had met him and his wife on a military base in the hospital transporting a patient to them who was the mother of a friend of mine with multiple sclerosis at Wilford-Hall years upon years ago. Her mother had a bed sore from her wheel chair and they thanked me that she would have died in three days had she not come in. I spoke at her eulogy. Her husband was a retired air force and then postal worker. Her daughter had two children, one she named after her mother, and I wrote to Pope Francis to explain her situation before his tour to America, since she is catholic, as was her mother. I remembered my thoughts when I met them before reconnecting later and becoming friends outside of Wilford-Hall, a decade or so later.I bought a shirt for the Texas Nu chapter to contribute and then missed a deadline for an online lab activity and couldn't tell my professor on Friday, November 13th, why I had not done my work, so I looked at my shirt, and went through my notes to see where I had been. FGI out of New York called me as I was writing a post about our checks to Children's, and I had left an item that fell out in an elevator on campus, so I went ahead and met with the girls that found it, spoke with an on campus police officer, and went to our Chess Society meeting, that I am writing a paper for right now on. During chess I played someone who then walked with me to look at the posters of the brain patterns of chess players and we discussed various topics and met up with his friend before they went on a "man-date" to leave me to go to another friend's tournament. They wanted to know my plans of going into industry or academia for the most part and we talked about statistics, chemistry, and so forth. The Paris Attacks occurred after the tournament. I fell asleep in my bathtub and didn't notice it, it was like blinking and an hour had gone by. I noticed the time difference and called another friend and ask that they stop by to help me get my belongings out of my car. I posted that if I was dropping bombs I would be listening to No Leaf by Metallica to my friend/contact/logistics coordinator that I had given to the mend doctors, he had asked us to post a song by them if we were in that capacity, what would we be listening to. One of the mend doctors is a flight surgeon and retired US Navy, emergency physician, so while my award-winning retired friend and his wife are from another branch, I knew it would be fine for them to do business together both knowing me anyways and then I sent another student to follow up with the new doctors contact to see if they had any connections on the air force side to set up a tour at the same base we already have the marines hosting up with, and I have been going over the lesson plans for chapters 2, 3, and 4 of Dr. Root's People, Places, Checkmates from 2010. My paper will be over our Chess Society Club, and the topic currently is "What stories from the history of chess will resonate most with your proposed chess program population?" I was just talking at a luncheon before the attacks about a french tapestry I preserved with museum glass, and my notes from a Women of the World for Peace talk are what resonate with me so far, as well as asymmetrical warfare, the United Nations talk being canceled today that was entitled #earthtoparis prior to the attacks that would go over Climate Change. I thought about a doctor that I had trained to draw on his arm instead of cutting himself that I sent money to while he vacationed in Paris during some of their workers riots, and I explained to him the way the brain perceives the motion to take off the habit, so he didn't actually have to hurt himself, and then his nephew, how to position a mirror for his father, who is a gang-leader, that lost his leg after shooting up meth-amphetamines and was hit by a car, and lost part of his leg, so that he wouldn't have phantom limb-pain, our soldiers that are fighting or will be fighting or veterans that have had similar issues with drugs, and I think about the history or war in itself, that France has declared war, and that I need to snap out of the outside conflicts to finish my report, and am trying to find a way to relate the textbook to what would be appropriate for the members in our chess club as well as members of the community. Our governor and about 16 states, have written letters refusing Syrians from entering into their states, and I think about how I have been slammed with a plethora of students on the autism spectrum, some of which I have worked with, and one of them followed me into a meeting about an hour late in a medical college and had no idea why he was there, and wanted to ask me about my status on FB when it was clear I was joking that I was engaged because I quoted Samantha from Sex & the City and stated I had been in a relationship with myself for 31 years. I realized after writing this article that I had gone through doing the majority of the exercises, and that I had to choose only one lesson from each chapter and not write an entire assignment. My son played chess with me for the first time while I was at work taking some AIAA students to a meeting. College is suppose to be a safe place for students, faculty, and staff to express their ideas, and I had just got done talking about supporting #cocksnotglocks a movement from UT Austin supporting a non-violent approach to banning guns on campus, since a ban was lifted, and higher-education institutions had a majority opinion that kids going to be independent for their first time, off in an already sometimes highly-stressed environment, shouldn't have the added pressure. I told my son, that he has to understand that when I choose to marry someone, it is my choice and my decision, because he had asked me to pawn a class ring, and not in a chess context. He told me if I wasn't getting married I didn't need a ring I could just pawn it and give the money to his father, a man I have been divorced over 11 years from, and it was a further struggle to explain to him, why he should wear a condom if he chooses to engage in sexual activity, and that it is not appropriate to take someone's virginity just because you are more experienced than they are, although I didn't really put it to him that way, I did tell him "We don't do that to ____ because they are a virgin" he asked if virginity was exclusive to Christianity which it is not, and I told him that was in any religion. I have been exposed to a plethora of cultures and religions as well, so I made him a Who's who book for Seth and probably want to go back and edit it to have more Dr. Who, since he is into that. My son wanted me to "make out" with one of my teachers, so I introduced him to a former teacher, who I suppose would technically be a colleague, after I graduate, but I have this hang-up on not ever dating someone who ever had a position of power over you in that capacity, so to me a student-teacher relationship has barriers after class is over, but I should be more aware of why guys with aspergers would be attracted to me, besides the fact that they have seen me supporting the educational causes for their syndrome, it normally doesn't end well, because I feel overly suffocated from being enclosed in an environment, and they feel overly anxious from being forced around town with a social butterfly. The guy that followed me into medical college sometimes checks to see whether or not I am drained from public appearances yet, he says, are you burned out from socializing yet? Perhaps that is his pick up line. I had a director from LA that recently moved to Texas tell me that if they feel like my children because I am having to take care of them, don't be fooled, they are trying to have sex with me. The doctors from Mend described medical school as a place where everyone ends up getting married to each other when they go, and that somewhat put me in a panic. I am applying to the astronaut program as a single mom, and I intend to have children later when I get out, though I realize I may want to adopt and plan on what type of marriage I want to have, and make sure everything in writing is something both parties want. I told my son who while he pretended to be obsessed with who is mommy dating, the moment you take him to a movie, he starts kicking the car on the inside and telling the guy "Don't do it man, don't marry her, she will marry you and abandon you with a kid" which obviously his father told him, and I said "Honey, I asked your father to marry me a year and a half after you were born" and I have the wedding photo to prove it because my son was at my wedding! I guess I have to crunch time now and finish my writing to post to elearning. Midnight. Deadline. What can you do?
This is my airplane I repaired the first time until it shattered falling off of my pente board. I had wanted to add pente and canasta to some of the games integrated with chess if it had a reason for playing with. I use to play canasta in elementary school with my family primarily.
In search of a new chess board to design........... after reading an assignment, I skipped over part of the instructions that stated choose ONE lesson from each chapter, and then started working on the assignment by reading and going through the chapters to itemize and develop a lesson plan for all of the lessons and exercises.
Chapter 2: The World of Chess
Lesson 1: Timelines
Students compare and contrast the longetivity of chess and other popular games.
Lesson 2: Maps
Exercise 2: Nineth-Century Chess Problem
Lesson 3: Silk Road
Exercise 3: Tandem Chess
Lesson 4: Legends around the world
Exercise 4: Mongolian Chess Legend
Lesson 5: Write a Legend
Excercise 5-A: Create a problem
Exercise 5-B: Robin Hood and the Pawn
-------------------------------------- Until I got to the next set of chapters and wanted to start combining the exercises for a purpose
Chapter 3: Chess and Society
Considering that the name of our group that meets on Fridays at 2:30pm-5:30pm is called the Chess Society Club I would emphasize Chapter 3 to be taught with Chapter 4 together, because it is designated as a "Club", where Chess and Society play an equal role with lessons from Chess and Citizenship, as they are integrated together in any particular order of the student who wants to learn.
For example, I would pair the following
Chapter 3 Lesson 6: Rule Changes NCSS Theme VIII Science, Technology, and Society with Chapter 4 Lesson 11: NCSS Theme I. Culture
A comparitive objective would be students fulfill both objectives together as which is a higher prevelance to their training
My lesson would be how they weigh in on describing "....changes in values, beliefs, and attitudes from having faster chess games and faster technology......(with)...list(ing) undesirable behaviors that sometimes occur during modern chess games, through reading a primary source....", of their choice and compare it with the 15-paragraph essay from Benjamin Franklin for proper chess behavior, that way they can justify to me the insturctor, what is more relveant to their habits in chess, whether it be computerized or in person. Before they do so, I want them to identify their learning style, and relate it to their proposal for using a choice option other than Franklin, and tell me why.
Exercise 6: Slow-Paced Chess with Exercise 11: Bughouse ( I was editing this in between the next and had changed the format from people to moves in regards to lesson #13)
Exercise 7: Chess with Dice and Lesson 13: Famous Chess Moves
For this exercise I want them to create an objective for renumbering the player system of points based on the value each player puts on their favorite piece of choice and rate them between 1-6 if using one die, and so on for increasing numbers of die or numbering pieces, and then explain why. While they do this, I want their famous chess moves

Chess books & boards |
I have a collection of chess books going on and added a few more to my collection. I was ordered 2 weeks off from school & physical activities. Now I have my house to be home alone in & get back to my new routine.
4/5/2016
I did an interesting thing after writing my paper, was to create a project at a custom place that designs chess boards. Not sure who will respond to some of my ideas or projects, & I did so much research over the board designs themselves, that I decided to reward myself with a new board for a collection towards the improvement of my chess game. & I need to recycle some papers to make room for my chess books as well. I am having to get rid of an old dresser, so upon finding a new one, I might be able to dedicate some space to shelving for a mini-chess library. Since I am President of an Aviation Club and an active Chess Enthusiast, I really want to be able to have a basic model of airplanes and rockets for a chess board so I have better familiarity with air classes and lower earth orbit vehicles, since primarily, Orion & a satellite GPM for NASA are what I am most familiar with besides Apollo, Gemini, Challenger, and so on.
I had a really great time at our Bass Innovation Symposium & shelved a section to work on studying more of my neurosurgery & related topics over the summer while updating licenses and finishing classes.
So I ended up getting some space in a lab to design my own chess boards. I got a new dresser, but I have a lot of chess books, so it would not fit on it. I got to take two real estate classes in order to get my license back so I have decided that when I get my own office I will have to make room for board games such as chess boards I have designed or collected. I contacted a world chess museum and got information for one of their archivist and contacted a publisher about writing a book dedicated to the art of chess boards. I need a few volunteers to go with me to Children's Medical Center Children's Health to play chess and teach some of the kids to make their own boards. I saved some materials in my lab space for the kids at the hospital, and spent my summer researching what I wanted to design. With that being said, I took part of the summer also to develop a concept of design that would include academics and went through incorporating some of the chess tactics as far as training for teaching is concerned goes, with developing a game where the pieces served as concepts, and the board visually has a strategic periodic table of the chemical elements for chemistry, another visual structures for O-Chem, & they were all made out of poster board and the pieces cut up, which I took notes in making. I am ready to set some of my designs with epoxy and a catalyst, I really would like someone to donate a few rat brains I could cut up, since we have already done sheep brains for learning neurolab and those would be too large for a standard board. I was able to study more neurosurgery and aerospace medicine which is my field of interest besides mathematics or engineering things. I was able to do 11 boards sort of Kama Sutra style in positioning humans from a nerve book, however, I need to develop a computer program so it can have the degrees of freedom and vectors of either positions of the humans on the board, or pieces, either or, the board would come first to be able to run a program that would place the character outlines for drawing to make it easier than having error strictly by hand with the vectors anyway, and I would not want to take anything that would constitute needing motion without computer assistance for the design should I need to 3D print anything like that or other chemical structure elements, or air related items, or really anything to do with 3D printing. Even if I did a laser cut, I would want a program designed just to position the positions of the characters that are stick/humans as in the nerve book so that could be placed as easily on the 11 boards with 704 squares, half of which that would be filled for 352, each of the three hundred and fifty two squares once filled by a computer could be rearranged on a screen for alterations in placement as needed.
I will take photos and display my collection for what I have designed over the summer soon! I was also able to do research with other companies over how to partner with them possibly to design some more elaborate boards for profit/fundraisers.
My ex-spouse stated that if I went to summer school or was teaching he would not allow me to see my son, and he has a huge problem with the school a go to, and further more anything related to what I am doing with chess, so Senator Carlos Uresti will be representing me next week. I filed the motions myself for the violations for visitations so I was able to get a little bit of legal training in the process.
I did a proposal for chess certificates in our educational program
